Accurate Information

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) creates a standardized process for copyright holders (including software developers) to ask CSC Management Inc, DBA Side Hustle Academy to take down infringing content.

The DMCA rquires that you swear to the facts in your notice of infringement under penalty of perjury. It is a federal crime to intentionally lie in a sworn declaration. (See U.S. Code, Title 18, Section 1621). Submitting false information could also result in civil liability, meaning you could get sued for money damages.

Takedown Notice

If someone else is using your copyrighted content in an unauthorized manner on Decentral Publishing, send a notification to [email protected]. You may include an attachment of the infringement but ensure to include the following in a plain text notice: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or the person acting on behalf of the owner, identification of the copyrighted work claim to have been infringed, identification of the infringing material, your relevant contact information, a statement describing that the information in the complaint is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

It is preferred that notices be sent via electronic mail, however, you can send a notice by physical mail. Keep in mind that physical mail is slower and it will take a lot longer for us to receive and respond to the request.

Acknowledgement

By submitting a DMCA notice, you acknowledge that a copy of the submission disclosing all information provided may be shared with the party being accused.

Counter Notice

If you believe your content was mistakenly disabled by a takedown request, you have the right to contest said takedown by submitting a counter notice. PLease ensure that you can answer all required informatin for a counter notification.
